What is the role of Petzl Technical Institute in Australia & New Zealand?

Each Petzl Technical Institute has a number of key functions. These are:

  1. To answer technical questions relating to Petzl products and their use.
  2. To increase efficiency in response time to requests from end users, trainers & sellers of Petzl products.
  3. To provide feedback on Petzl products to Petzl (France).
  4. To provide end user solutions to access, egress, working in the vertical world by recommending Petzl solutions.
  5. To establish Petzl Technical Partners and Petzl Information Partners within Australia and New Zealand.
  6. To train staff of the Petzl Technical Partners and to train Petzl Information Partners.
  7. Collecting information from end users; Petzl Technical Partners; and Petzl Information Partners on:
    1. issues relating to Petzl solutions;
    2. ideas to improve Petzl solutions;
    3. new product / market requirements;
    4. new areas where Petzl solutions could be used;
    5. training requirements and improvements
  8. Conduct audits of prospective Petzl Technical Partners and Petzl Information Partners
