Process to become a Petzl Technical Partner

Who can apply?

Any National VET Regulation Registered Training Organisation.(NVR RTO) working in the field of verticality worldwide has the potential
to become a Petzl Technical Partner. Non NVR RTO’s may apply but each application will be taken on an individual basis.

To achieve this you must comply with an audit process defined by Petzl.
NB: Petzl retains the right to deny or revoke Petzl Technical Partner status if it is in contradiction with Petzl’s global strategy.

What is the process?

Contact the Petzl Technical Institute in your area and explain your interest.
Identify the person in your own training centre who will be the contact for the Petzl Technical Institute and who will follow the process.
The Petzl Technical Institute will provide a pre-audit checklist to help you prepare your documents for audit.
Complete the steps required (see the dedicated detailed document for more details).
If your training centre meets the requirements of the audit, you receive Petzl Technical Partner certification. Display your new certification proudly.
Attend the specific Petzl Solution Modules that you have identified as important to your end-users and start to use the exclusive content described above, under the official Petzl label.

Begin delivering Petzl Solution Modules and information to your clients.

How long does it take?

Typically, the whole process can be completed within 3 to 6 months.

How much will it cost?

The cost of the entrance package is taken on a case by case basis as it depends on how the audit process is undertaken and whether or not you have a training facility that requires auditing. The entrance package cost covers:

fundamental training of 1 – 4 of your staff;
audit consultancy;
undertaking the audit;
administrative follow-up.

The entrance package will take your training centre from where it is today, to being in a position to deliver a Petzl Solution Module, with the backing and support of your Petzl Technical Institute.
