Process to become a Petzl Information Partner

Who can apply?

Anyone involved in the outdoor (sport / recreational) or workplace (work at heights – any industry).

What is the process?

• Contact the Petzl Technical Institute in your area and explain your interest.
• The Petzl Technical Institute will provide a pre-audit checklist to help you prepare yourself for the audit.
• Complete the steps required.
• Attend the specific Petzl Solution Modules that you have identified as important to your end-users and start to use the exclusive content described above, under the official Petzl label.

A Petzl Information Partner is an information provider with demonstrable educational skills and provable expertise in a vertical environment that Petzl serves and which has been audited and certified by a PETZL Technical Institute according to Petzl Audit requirements to provide information on Petzl solutions to end-users.

A Petzl Information Partner must be able to deliver overall technical information for this activity and be able to integrate specific Petzl Solutions into its program.
A Petzl Information Partner can give all types of Information, but can only use the Petzl logo and the title Petzl Information Partner (Unique number) to represent the Petzl Solutions they have been approved to deliver by a PETZL Technical Institute (PETZL-TI).

Petzl retain the right to veto the choice of a Petzl Information Partner if it is in contradiction with the Petzl global strategy.

The certification of a Petzl Information Partner shall be tied to a person
The certification of a Petzl Information Partner is valid for three years.
To renew the certification, the Petzl Information Partner shall be re audited and certified by its PETZL-TI.

How long does it take?

Typically, the whole process can be completed within 3 to 6 months depending on your experience and availability to undertake the modules.

How much will it cost?

The cost of the entrance package is taken on a case by case basis as it depends on how the pre audit checklist information provided.
The entrance package cost covers:

• fundamental training of 1 – 4 of yourself;
• undertaking the audit;
• administrative follow-up.
